It may refer to redesign of the complete apartment, only a part of the apartment or a part of interior intervention whether it means changing:

Furniture - modification of existing, changing the fronts or supplementing parts of furniture with glass shelves, mirrors, new handles,... or part of furniture - eg. kitchen or kitchen door or worktop
Lighting - replacing existing lights, installing new indirect, LED lighting, etc.
